The one-day floor

The one-day system is polyaspartic top to bottom: grind and repair in the morning, base and flake midday, clear coat by afternoon. It exists for schedules that can't give a garage up for most of a week - and it's only possible with a crew moving in sequence, because polyaspartic does not wait for you.
It runs a little more per square foot than the standard two-day stack. We quote both numbers side by side; the floor looks identical from above.

Is polyaspartic better than epoxy?
They do different jobs. Epoxy builds thickness and bonds to concrete; polyaspartic cures fast, stays flexible, and never yellows in sunlight. The best residential floor uses both: epoxy underneath for build, polyaspartic on top for the wear surface. A polyaspartic-only system trades some film build for a one-day install.
What does "one-day floor" actually mean?
Grind, repair, and coat in a single working day, walk on it that evening, park the next day. It works because polyaspartic cures in hours instead of days. It costs more per square foot than a standard two-day system - we quote both and you pick.
Will the floor yellow near the garage door or on the patio?
Not with a polyaspartic top coat - it is aliphatic, meaning UV-stable. Bare epoxy ambers where sun hits it, which is exactly what happens along the door line of an epoxy-only garage floor after a year of Missouri sun.
Is polyaspartic slippery?
Any gloss coating is slicker wet than bare concrete. We build grip in where it matters - flake texture itself adds bite, and we can add an aluminum-oxide or polymer grit additive to the top coat on steps, ramps, and exterior work.
